Elkhorn Corn 2020
This corn tour, best viewed on a large high-resolution display, begins and ends in space at Squirrley Lane, separated in time by one growing season of seven months.
Simply pan the page for an overview, noting in particular the two pictures where my bicycle acts as a growth-gauge in wheel-diameter units of 700 mm. In that two week period 07/06-07/20 the corn grew over two feet, the tassels appeared and the ears just became visible at the two-unit height level. On average a corn stalk produces one ear of corn, having 800 corn kernels!
